Christmas Table Setting 2013

Eversince I got married, I developed this love for setting our dining table! It’s just so fun and challenging for me to use my existing stuff (aka trash) and mix them with a few newly-bought accents then turn them into something nice!

Since Christmas is nearing, I’d like to share with you the table set-up I did last minute last year! Didn’t think Peralejo Christmas Eve would be celebrated at our house until about a day before the 24th so yes, I was part of THE Christmas Rush. Got a few Christmas accents from the department store, borrowed my mom’s tree accents, and made do with what we had.

Christmas Tree Accents – borrowed from Mom
Reindeer – bought from SM’s home section, husband spray painted it to white
Everything else – existing at our home

used our Filipiniana chairs for most of the dining

The Details:
Green and White Paper Straws (from Divisoria – but there are many of these everywhere nowadays – Robinson’s Department Stores, Gourdos, craft stores on Instagram)
DIY brown paper placemat (from Divisoria)
Mason Jar (from Divisoria – you can find similar in True Value and several Instagram shops)
Large Popsicle Stick with washi tape accent (from The Washi Machine) + names stamped using my alphabet stamp (from Divisoria as well)
Off white table napkin (from local department stores)
Off white cord (from Ace Hardware)

Food area with my simple chalkboard lettering (with a quote I super love and believe in) + more straws and Ice Bucket from SM home also I think.

Having read this I thought it was very informative. I appreciate you finding the time and effort to put this informative article together. I once again find myself spending way too much time both reading and commenting. But so what, it was still worth it!|
