Off-The-Beaten-Track Tour Package: Surigao Del Sur

People who often ask me what are my favorite provinces seem to see my bias towards Surigao Del Sur. As much as I don’t like comparing nor answering what are my favorite places in the country, I can’t help but fall in love with the beaches of Surigao del Sur in general. They’re white, powdery and well, mostly empty.

If you think you’ve stepped on the most powdery sands that is Boracay, try Surigao’s charm – the beaches are generally smaller, but I honestly think they’re even more powdery.

That’s why when I started our travel agency, I made sure to include Surigao in our list. I’m making more Surigao packages, but let these photos of Cantilan, Surigao Del Sur make you drool tonight:

no wonder it’s called BLUE LAGOON – when it’s season, you might be lucky enough to swim with stingless jellyfish!

How about this as your “tambayan” after surf lessons or a day of island hopping?

learn to surf with the expertise of the locals!

step into powdery sands sans the crowd

If you’re interested to take this tour, email us at travel@ourrestlessfeet.com. It’s perfect for families and barkadas who are looking for an off-the-beaten-track getaway! For 4 days and 3 nights, you get fullboard meals (yummy meals served by none other than your great cook slash tour guide), fan room BUT beachfront accommodation, surf lessons, island hopping, a little bit of city tour and simply a lovely week with the help of your tour guide (who not only happens to be a cook, but a great photographer, too! She took the photos above, by the way!)

For a group of 6, it’s only PHP 5,000 per person. Maximum number of persons per tour for now is 8!

We’ll be waiting!:)

Hi Marielle. Yes, it’s far and should be a separate trip unless you’re staying really long.
